On November 10, 2017 Dr. St. Pierre and the staff of Petrolia Optometry welcomed Bob Bailey to the office where he met with Dr. St. Pierre, had a tour of the office and watched Dr. St. Pierre perform an eye exam. These visits allow MPPs to see first-hand the work optometrists do, and how they contribute to Ontario’s health-care system.

On November 30, 2017, Dr. St. Pierre was invited to speak to the group about the importance of seniors eye exams. Dr. St. Pierre believes that one of the most important components of her job as optometrist is to educate the public on eye health and the importance of eye examinations so she really enjoyed having this opportunity to speak to large community group.
