Dr. J. E. St. Pierre BSc OD

Dr. St. Pierre has been practicing optometry since 2001. She grew up on a farm in Enniskillen Township, the daughter of Charles and Emily St. Pierre. She attended Lambton Central Centennial Public School and Lambton Central Collegiate Vocational Institute (LCCVI) in Petrolia ON. When she graduated from high school, she was awarded the Helen Kavanagh Nicol Scholarship. Dr. St. Pierre earned her Bachelor of Science(Honours Science) and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University ofWaterloo, Waterloo ON, on the Dean’s Honours List, in 2001. Kerry has worked for Petrolia Optometry since August 2002 when Dr. St. Pierre joined the practice. Kerry enjoys working in Petrolia where she has lived her entire life. Kerry enjoys the challenge of implementing new policies and procedures at Petrolia Optometry such as insurance company direct billing. Her favourite part of the job, however, is selecting new eyeglass frames for patients and keeping our optical dispensary frame boards up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear. Kim has worked for Petrolia Optometry since May 2011. Previous to that she worked in a busy retail optical store for 5 years. Kim earned her Honours Bachelor degree in Medical Science (BMSc) fromUniversity of Western Ontario, London ON. She completed the Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant(CCAO) course through the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) in 2013 achieving the top national grade in for the course that year....

Crystal has worked for Petrolia Optometry since August 2017. Crystal’s previous work experience includes 15 years in the banking industry as Head Teller for Business Clients and 5 years’ experience working at a retail optical store. Crystal’s favourite part of her job is getting to know Petrolia Optometry’s patients as well as performing eyeglass frame selections. Crystal is a great listener and she always has candy at her desk! In her spare time she enjoys going for walks, camping, and spending time with her three children....

After completing a co-op placement in high school at a small town optometry office, Rachel headed to Georgian College in 1999 to pursue a career in Opticianry and graduated in 2001 with honours. She began her career right away in Guelph and has worked in many different facets of the optical industry from small independent offices to large chain stores. Her passion has always been to educate people about their eye health and to connect with people and build relationships while helping them see better.
